Plans, credits and billing
You pay for what you run. Every plan has every feature. Plans differ in how many API credits you get each billing period and how many rows you can store. This page explains both, and how to upgrade, cancel or come back. It needs an account. Without one, Stacksushi works in your browser with no limits.
The plans
| Free | Basic | Pro | Growth | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Price | $0 | $9 / month | $29 / month | $99 / month |
| API credits per billing period | 2,000 | 5,000 | 10,000 | 50,000 |
| Rows stored (all workbooks) | 5,000 | 10,000 | 15,000 | 50,000 |
| Workbooks | Unlimited on every plan | |||
Numbers can change as we learn. The page that is always right is your own Profile (see below).
What is a credit?
One credit is one request to a data provider through Stacksushi that got an answer: Apollo, Findymail, Prospeo, MillionVerifier, Apify, or any API you call with the proxy ticked. A few examples:
- Looking up one person with Apollo: 1 credit.
- A work email waterfall that asks three providers and a checker: up to 4 credits for that row. It stops at the first good email, so it often uses fewer.
- “No result found” still costs a credit, because the provider answered.
- A request that never gets a real answer (the provider is down, a timeout, a rate limit) is free. The credit is given back.
- A request the provider rejects counts, because it was still sent and answered. Some providers answer a wrong or expired key this way, so check your key with “Test on row 1” before a long run.
Free, always: importing and exporting, cleaning, formulas, lookups, JSON fields, sheets, filters, webhooks, and AI columns that use your own Claude or OpenAI key. Those never touch the Stacksushi proxy.
Stacksushi credits are about our service. What Apollo, Findymail, OpenAI and the rest charge you is between you and them.
The credit counter
When you are signed in, the top right of every screen shows how many credits you have left, for example 1,240 credits left, with a small bar. It turns amber when 20% or less is left and red when you are out. It updates after every run. Click it to open your Profile.
See your usage
Click your name or Profile in the sidebar. Your plan shows the plan, when it renews and two bars: API credits used this billing period and rows stored. Credits reset on your own billing date (for the Free plan, the monthly anniversary of the day you signed up). Unused credits do not roll over.
What happens at a limit
Nothing is ever deleted. When you reach a limit only adding stops. Everything you already have stays and stays editable.
- Out of credits. The run stops and a message says when your credits reset. Cells that did not run show that message and can be retried later with Only cells that failed last time. Everything that does not call an API keeps working.
- Importing too many rows. The import tells you how many fit and offers to bring in only those.
- Row limit reached. A message says how many rows your plan stores. Delete rows you no longer need, or upgrade.
Upgrade
On Profile, click the plan you want (Basic, Pro or Growth). A secure checkout opens (payments are handled by Dodo Payments, so your card details never touch Stacksushi). When it is done you return to Stacksushi and the plan changes within a moment. If the page still says Free, refresh it. Your credits for the new period start from your new billing date.
Manage billing, cancel and resubscribe
- Manage billing on Profile opens the payment portal. There you can update your card, see receipts and cancel.
- After you cancel, you keep your plan until the end of the period you paid for. Profile says Cancelled. You keep your plan until …. Then the account moves to Free. Your data stays, and only adding beyond the Free limits stops.
- Changed your mind? Click Resubscribe on Profile.
- A payment failed. Profile says so and gives a date until when your plan keeps working. Update your card in Manage billing.
